The 4th IFLA regional conference in the Arab region will focus on the impact of new technologies, and the opportunities they present for libraries.

In line with IFLA's own work to ensure that libraries are not just keeping up with, but staying ahead of technological developments, it will feature a range of speakers talking about the philosophical, and practical changes seen in libraries across the Arab world.

IFLA President Glòria Pérez-Salmerón will open the event, followed by a keynote speech by IFLA Secretary General Gerald Leitner.

The event promises to be a great opportunity to share ideas and further build the momentum towards a strong and united library field ready to shape the future.
