IFLA/ekz LIS Student Paper Award 2013: call for submissions

Applications are now invited from LIS students around the world for the 5th IFLA/ekz LIS Student Paper Award.

This award aims to encourage LIS students to submit papers for this year's IFLA WLIC in Singapore and to have the opportunity to participate in a major international event.  The Award can open the door for young  LIS professionals to learn about the activities of IFLA and to network with international colleagues.

The award is open to students from all over the world who are currently enrolled in a course of study for their first professional qualification in LIS.  The winner will receive free registration to the IFLA conference, plus a grant of up to 1000 Euro to assist with travel and accommodation costs.  In addition, they will have one year's membership of IFLA.
