IconoTag is a research project to study picture indexing that will provide automatic multilingual indexing for pictures. James Turner, professor at the Université de Montréal, is the researcher. Claire Nigay is the research assistant. They are studying ways to improve access to audiovisual materials and to help people find information on the web.

Choose a language you know, and have fun tagging 12 images. It only takes 5 or 10 minutes, and you'll help us with our research project. For each image, add tags that would help find the picture later. Please pass the word.
