​As part of its engagement in the UN initaitive on Monitoring and Evaluation for Disability-Inclusive Development, IFLA's section on Libraries Serving Users with Special Needs carried out a survey of policies and practices in place around the world.

Nancy Bolt, member and former chair of the Section, presented this work at a UN meeting in December 2017. The final report should be published shortly.
