De Gruyter Saur and IFLA: Celebrating 40 Years of Co-operation with a new Open Access agreement
Berlin/The Hague, 9 August 2011—
In a common effort to promote the work of IFLA, De Gruyter Saur is making sixteen IFLA Publications available in Open Access over its online platform Reference Global.
This step will increase the visibility of the work of the IFLA Sections and promote the implementation of common standards and professionalism across libraries worldwide. This step reflects the presidential theme of Ellen Tise, IFLA President:
IFLA continuously makes the point that open access to information, especially its concern for access to scholarly literature in the developing world, is a priority. Therefore I am delighted that so many of our valued IFLA Publications are being made available for everyone to work with!”
