IFLA's survey of its Members and volunteers, seeking views on the first draft proposals on our new governance structure has closed, with over 700 responses, as well as suggestions via e-mail. Your contributions will help the Governing Board improve the plans further, before a series of open virtual round tables in August.
IFLA’s members have offered overwhelming support via a consultative ballot to changes to the way that our Federation takes major decisions. At IFLA’s 2020 General Assembly, Members will be invited to confirm these changes, a key step further in IFLA’s Governance Review.

With IFLA’s Strategy for 2019-24 in place, now is the time to ensure that we have the right structures, as an organisation, to deliver on our vision and mission. IFLA’s Governance Review – the process for achieving this – is already well advanced.
